Instrumentation Cables

Kingmach instrumentation cables are intended for low-voltage sensor circuits where signal integrity matters most. They are available with tinned copper conductors, twisted pairs, and aluminum/polyester foil shields that help reject electromagnetic interference. For installations where cables run alongside power lines or in cable trays, we often supply an overall braid shield as well. The jacket can be selected for UV resistance, oil resistance, or flexibility at low temperatures, depending on the project. While the basic design follows standard analog signal cable principles, the real difference is in the configurable options: pair count, wire gauge, shield coverage, and jacket material can all be adjusted. We also offer continuous lengths up to 500 meters without splices, which avoids weak points in the field. In geotechnical applications like inclinometer arrays or piezometer strings, cables often need to be slim, yet mechanically tough—our LSZH-sheathed cables combine both. For industrial automation or structural health monitoring, color-coded conductors simplify termination, and drain wires are included for quick grounding. Kingmach does not treat cables as an afterthought; they are part of the measurement chain. That’s why we label every reel with a test certificate showing insulation resistance and capacitance values per meter. When a monitoring project spans years, a few extra steps in cable selection pay back with fewer data gaps and less troubleshooting.
